This was a day of fun perks of interning for the Hall of Fame Village. All the interns were given the chance to tour the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which is right next door to the Hall of Fame Village, but the two entities operate separately. The tour lasted most of the day and gave us a chance to explore at our own pace and observe the layout and some of the technical specifications of a separate, but very similar, organization. During the tour, I was able to make some mental notes of what I thought could possibly be improved and what I thought the Hall of Fame was doing well. I found it to be very museum-like which was not necessarily a bad thing but it did leave a little excitement to be desired. I felt that the way the Hall was set up would be very enjoyable for adults, but might not be engaging enough for kids. It seemed to me that some participative areas would be a good addition and would allow kids to have a better time.

At the end of the day, we were able to meet with the Hall of Fame Village CEO, Michael Crawford. Meeting with Mr. Crawford was a great opportunity to learn from someone that has a lot of experience in business and was eager to share some of his wisdom with us. We talked about some of his experiences and keynotes on how to be successful and make yourself valuable to potential employers. Overall, this was a good learning day and a fun, unique experience.
